I’m not mad-keen on having my photo taken either
and that’s exactly why I work the way I do

I believe the way you feel when a photo is taken is everything.
Because when you look back at it, you don’t just see the moment – you remember how it felt.
That’s why my focus isn’t just on how things look.
It’s on helping you feel relaxed, comfortable, and completely yourself – so the photos feel natural, not forced.
Hi I’m Justine!
I’m a people photographer based in Farnborough, photographing Businesses, Events, Families, and Weddings across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, London and beyond.
I live with my husband, two adult children and our much over loved Labrador, so I understand first-hand how chaotic, busy, emotional, and brilliant life can be.
And that’s exactly what I love capturing.
I’m not mad-keen on having my photo taken either
I believe in the same way music can transport you back to a moment in time, your photos are a tangible memory too. In other words if you aren’t enjoying having your photo taken you’ll remember that whenever you look at them. It’s unlikely you’ll like the end results.
I therefore endeavour to make that moment as effortless, fun and comfortable as possible throughout all my shoots and for everyone that’s in them. One of the greatest compliments I often get is people assuming I am an old friend of my client and their family.
I drink red wine
My favourite day is Sunday, when I go for a family dog walk, eat a delicious roast cooked by my wonderful husband and watch a film, drinking red wine.

I love people
Everyone is welcome here.
I am hugely empathic and genuinely enthusiastic about all things people; getting caught up in the sheer excitement, joy or sadness of the moment you are in and reflecting that back in the photos I take.
My personality type, very much influences the way I work and how I approach your photoshoot (whether it’s business headshots, branding, family, weddings or events)
To really capture who you are, I insist on getting to know you.
How I work
In the 12 years I’ve been a photographer, I’ve continued to invest in learning — from training with well-known wedding, family and headshot photographers, to finding inspiration in art galleries, museums, and even the books and podcasts I’m drawn to (which range from business and psychology to comedy and sci-fi).
All of it feeds into how I work with people.
Being a people-person I believe in community and I don’t believe in doing business alone.
I’m part of a number of organisations and networks that value collaboration over competition, including Surrey Hills Enterprises, Surrey Event Professionals, The Guild of Photographers and the Pink Coral Network, as well as several photography communities where we share ideas, support and encouragement. Being part of these communities means I understand how things work behind the scenes, can recommend brilliant suppliers if needed, and am always learning, evolving and refining my craft.
But more than anything, it reflects how I see the world.
We are better together -and connection sits at the heart of every photograph I take.
